Let's be real. Getting your headshots taken can be stressful. But you don't have to channel your inner Hamlet and be filled with existential dread about the process. I create an environment that is comfortable, collaborative, full of kinetic energy, and FUN.
We'll play your favorite tunes, share some juicy stories, and laugh the day away. Each image will have your eyes a-smizing!

WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY "LOOKS?"
Simply put, a "look" is a change of clothing that represents a different character type you may play. As actors, we want to inspire casting directors to see us as a variety of character types. We also want headshots that capture the unique characteristics that make us who we are. Each look should represent a character you would likely be cast as. Agencies require several standard "looks" such as commercial, theatrical, business, blue-collar, athletic, friendly neighbor, after-five, medical professional, etc.
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT WARDROBE OPTIONS TO BRING?
Each headshot package includes an in-depth wardrobe consultation prior to your shoot. We'll discuss what character types you and your agent feel represent you best. You will receive a wardrobe guide with many examples of what clothing options work best for actor headshots.
WHAT ABOUT HAIR & MAKE-UP?
Actors should come to set with their hair styled as they normally wear it to an audition. There will be time to make minor changes to your hair as we decide what hairstyles complement each "look." We strongly encourage every actor, inclusive of all gender identities, to schedule with our skilled make-up artist, Katie Sasinoski. The camera works best with high-definition make-up; and a skilled MUA will ensure that you look your very best and are camera ready. She will stay with us for the entire shoot for touch-ups and adjustments. This is a customary charge of $150 that you will pay directly to her the day of the shoot via cash, check, or Venmo.
WHEN WILL I GET TO SEE MY AWESOME NEW HEADSHOTS?
You will receive a link to a private online proofing gallery within 7-14 days of your shoot.
HOW DO I DECIDE WHICH ONES ARE THE BEST?
It's all in the eyes. Which ones do you connect with the most? Ask your closest friends and family which ones they think really look like you - in your best light. Also, if you have an agent, they will want to see your gallery of proofs to help decide which shots represent you best.
HOW ARE MY FULLY RETOUCHED FINAL IMAGES DELIVERED TO ME?
You will receive both high-resolution and web-optimized files of each final image. High-resolution files are large and preserve all of the juicy details for printing. Web-optimized files are a smaller file size that is perfect for online casting websites and social media shares.
WHAT IF I WANT ADDITONAL FINAL IMAGES NOT INCLUDED WITH MY PACKAGE?
Most people do! You'll be surprised how many shots you fall in love with. Additional fully retouched final images are just $50 each.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE?
Please give a 48-hour notice to reschedule. We will do our best to find a time that works for you. Cancelled appointments and/or NO SHOWS will forfeit the deposit that was made when booking your appointment.
WHAT PAYMENT OPTIONS DO YOU ACCEPT?
ENSEMBLE HEADSHOTS accepts cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, and credit card payments online via our website. A 2.9% processing fee will apply to all credit card transactions. Sales tax will apply where applicable.
WHAT SAFETY PROTOCOLS ARE YOU FOLLOWING DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC?
All photoshoots take place outside or within our large indoor studio which is equipped with a medical grade air filter. All clients are required to sign a waiver of liability.
