ACTING 101: FOR STAGE & SCREEN

Service Description

Students learn practical techniques to bring any script to life. Class begins with engaging improvisations to discover actions & tactics. We quickly progress to Meisner's classic Repetition Exercise, followed by an in-depth exploration of Practical Aesthetics script analysis. Students are challenged to work on short scenes from THEATER & FILM/TV to begin to put their craft into action. We prepare so that we can play! - ADULTS ages 18+ - Students age 17 may be admitted with parental/guardian consent.
